SEGA Marine Fishing is a fishing game made by SEGA AM1 (Wow Entertainment) and published by SEGA for the arcade and SEGA Dreamcast. It was later ported to Microsoft Windows PC. It’s an arcade style fishing game that focuses on chill vibes and fun, rather than being a realistic fishing sim. It is a sequel to SEGA Bass Fishing.
The game has multiple modes, including an arcade mode in which the player must catch fish in a series of environments. To clear a stage, the player must catch a grand total measurement of fish (in weight).
There’s also a Free Fish mode, in which the player can fish indefinitely in their environment of choice. Additional content includes an aquarium, which the player can stock by catching fish in the wild, earning items through fishing and through playing the game’s mini-game challenges. The items that the player can earn include new boats, new clothing, new aquarium accessories, and fishing gear.
SEGA Marine Fishing can be played on the Dreamcast using the system’s excellent Dreamcast Fishing Rod Controller!
